Movie Story: Belli alias Basavaraj (Shivarajkumar) migrates from his village to town in search of a job. He falls to the lure of underworld beneath the direction of a don politician (Gurudutt) and brings in good money. In a battle between competing gangs, the leader of Belli is killed, prompting Belli to vow revenge from the killers. Meanwhile, Belli falls in love with Sneha (Kriti), the daughter of a police officer. The storyline carries on to detail the search to win Sneha’s love while he greatly descends to the depths of the criminal underworld of Belli.
